The hotel was very clean and comfortable with very friendly staff. We had a lovely meal at the restaurant. Parking was convenient and free and the hotel is closed to grocery stores and petrol stations.

Hotel staff makes a huge difference !

I’ve now stayed twice in this hotel within the last 12 months! Staff will go a long way to make a difference! Beds are comfy, showers are great! Perfect location to all amnesties, bar is great, can’t fault it! Highly recommended !

Perfect place to stay after a long day of hiking in the rain! A hot shower and comfortable bed was the perfect end to our day. Love the lamps and lower lighting options in the room, too. It makes it extra cozy in there.

Egilstadir isn’t the nicest place in Iceland, but t it’s a convenient place to stop. The hotel was comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding. We also had dinner here and it was very good. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this hotel. The facility was pleasant, room was clean and beds comfortable. Service was friendly and accommodating. Location was convenient. Wish the shower water had more pressure.
