We had a wonderful stay. The staff was kind and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. The only complaint i have is regarding the key cards. They were finicky the whole time. We couldn't get my wife's card to work at all on the outer lock, although it did open our room door. We even had them exchange our cards but the new cards have the same problem. Might be time to upgrade to the RFID everyone else is using. The location was convenient right next to a grocery store, so we were able to walk over to get some snacks and other items for dinner. The town is small and cute and has a mountain community feel. We would definitely stay here again.

Last minute reservation. The town of Ely Nevada is old and worn out. Lots of vacant buildings. We originally had reservation at another property here in Ely but it was in horrid shape and we absolutely would not stay there- Magueson Inn. La Quinta was nice and comfortable but expensive . Breakfast was good and more than adequate.

Wallpaper comes of the walls of the room. Furniture had dirty water stains all over. Very lumpy bed. Breakfast staff is not really keeping up with stacking the breakfast area and coffee.

To start the lady at the front desk had more important things to listen to then to help me! I had an issue with my key. She told me to keep it away from my phone like I was a five-year-old. I felt like the hotel was very rundown and really gross furniture was old wallpaper was coming off. The beds were so uncomfortable. It was very loud. It was an awful awful stay. I didn’t even bother trying the breakfast. It looked gross. They were kids sticking their hands and stuff. No one was paying attention. They only saving grace was the coffee place across the parking lot. They were super friendly. The coffee and food were very inexpensive, but other than that, I would never stay in that hotel ever again!

Front desk staff was very helpful and attentive to needs. Room was a little lack luster. Peeling wall paper in multiple places. Sink faucet still has toothpaste spots from previous guest. Sitting chair in room is badly stained on the chair itself and ottoman. Not what I would call "executive deluxe".
