The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean. The gardens that they list are closed due to lack of upkeep, since they are closed they should not advertise that they have them as we were looking forward to morning strolls in the garden which was part of the reason we booked our stay there. The room was beautifully decorated, warm and cosy, bathroom was a bit small but clean and nicely laid out with everything needed to hand.
