I booked it for the shuttle access, and did what I needed it to do. I found the room way too hot and heard every plane going over head so did not sleep great. However the it suited my needs for access to the airport. I would stay again but I do think its a bit pricy for no sound proofing and no air conditioning. They did have a fan in the room which was a life saver. I bought a coffee in reception and it cost me €5 so won't be doing that again. Can't comment on staff as had absolutely no interaction with any other than the barista. I had checked in and out on line. Hotel room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

What I liked most about this hotel was the breakfast. It is not included in the room rate, and it is not cheap, but it was the best breakfast we've ever had in a hotel or motel. It featured a huge selection of dishes and drinks. We also enjoyed the view from our window of the horses in the pasture near the hotel. One disappointing thing about the room was that there was no internet connection on the TV. I had gotten used to that on the TV in the downtown Dublin hotel we had stayed at the previous week. If the foreign sim cards I was using (British and Irish) could have been used to create a wifi hot spot, then I could have watched the internet shows I like on the TV, in my room at the Clayton, but the sim cards I had could not be used in that way. We also could not find a temperature control in our room.

On making the reservation and PAID IN ADVANCE I immediately noticed that I had given the wrong date and requested to change to one day earlier. The hotel refused to even respond to my request and also would not respond to Hotels.com attempts. Poor customer service on both Hotels.com and the Clayton.

Convenient for airport with shuttle but would be nice to have more of an idea of shuttle times as it just goes on a loop for 24 hours which is lovely but a bit stressful if you just missed one and didn’t know. Clean and comfortable room. Coffee maker a plus.
