I liked the trail access on the property. I also enjoyed the views from the park. The rooms were small and bathroom was a pretty tight.
This a family resort that is wholesome, safe, and includes activities all at a great price - but don’t expect fancy. Love the Y and the Y’s values ? This is the place for you.
I do recommend staying in the nicer lodges, compared to the cheaper lodges which could use updating .
Spent most of the time hiking, beds were decently comfortable. Got a room with a queen bed and 2 twin bunk beds. No microwave, no tv, no fridge. Bathroom had toilet and stand up shower. Building was relatively quiet. Would book again
The location is beautiful and they offer so much. Activities, dining etc but no AC and for a woman that has hot flashes it made it a long uncomfortable night. I’m sure most of the time it’s not needed but it was 79 in my room and only cooled down to 74 overnight with the window open and a ceiling fan. We did get a box fan for the window on the 2nd night and that helped bring in a breeze but no AC is a deal breaker for me returning which is sad because I really liked everything else about it. Oh and no TV. That in itself wouldn’t stop us from returning but you should know that ahead of time.
The YMCA is a gorgeous property. We enjoyed every minute of of five days spent there with our grand children. We'll be back!

The family room we stayed in wasn’t good, there was a bad odor, bathroom didn’t have exhaust. And it was hot in the room. But the ymca free activities were good.
Crappy dust bins as rooms . Noise all the way until 1am. Cant even sleep after a day of hiking. Terrible property. Stay away from these guys. The only good thing is close to park.
The room was eh. We stayed at the twin sisters. Definitely old looking. Walls are paper thin. The people above us were soooo inconsiderate and loud. We called the front desk and they said they would talk to them but who knows if they did because it progressively got worse. The queen bed was not on properly and I went to change my baby's diaper and we almost fell on the ground. Very unsafe. It looked normal too, like everything was straight. (We tried straightening the mattress on the box and frame after it slid off, but it was not something we could not fix ourselves..they had to come back and bolt it...the NEXT day.) The bunk bed was even sinking to one side. I will never stay here again!
The staff was friendly enough but other than that, the stay was not worth almost 400$ for 2 nights.
Very peaceful, beautiful view. Clean. Spacious room with nice linens. Only downside is the no air conditioning but nice window to open and there’s no city lights or noise.

Property would be great for families. Not good if you're looking for quiet. Lots of kids running around as you might expect. No AC
Dirty bathroom with grass in shower. Bedding had hair on it. No ice bucket or ice available in building. Pictures made it look way nicer. No way to close blinds with fan rinning in window.
It was very much a “summer camp” feel. So many activities for all ages. A ice cream truck giving out free ice cream drives around each afternoon. Beautiful scenery all around. A lot of walking as the compound is huge but driving was always an option too.
