While the rooms are definitely bare bones, and the walls are a little thin, the available amenities more than made up for it, especially considering the low price. There are tons of activities included in the room fee, and it was very convenient to both downtown Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. The breakfast buffet was a little pricey for the quality of food, but there was a good variety of options, from fruit and muffins to omelettes, biscuits and gravy, and pancakes. We also had a decent meal from the cafe, which was a great spot for grab-and-go meals. The staff were wonderful, and were able to help us with any questions. We were in town for the Scottish festival, so we didn't spend a lot of time checking out the property, but we would definitely go back.

YMCA what did I expect? It was clean, barren of comfort and the food horrible. The activities were fun and the place was beautiful, the staff amazing. Why was this place the same price as a hotel?

wonderful stay

I recommend this Y to anyone with or without kids. Great stay. Rooms are a bit rocky, mind the pun, but overall so much to do and Estes park is a great place to visit.

The location is perfect for anyone visiting RMNP. The lodge has basic needs. The surrounding is beautiful. There are lots of activities but each requires some fees and reservation to be made. Overall good value for the price in this area. Will likely visit again!

Property was grest for families...but for seniors there was no elevators we were on 3rd floor, no tv, fan was very loud...nice balcony, nice cafe in lobby, buffet was not so great but was hungry so ate it ..location was great

Just stayed one night. Wanted to be close to Rocky Mountain National Forest for a morning hike the next day. This place was priced reasonable and was just what we were looking for. Just a place to sleep. Beautiful place in the mountains. We didn't use any of the facilities. Had dinner in Estes Park and left early in the morning. The short time we were there was enough time to see that this place would be an awesome to bring young kids. Very big grounds with a lot of things to do.
