An old-style Tuscan country estate with a peaceful atmosphere, attentive service, excellent breakfast.The surroundings are serene and picturesque， perfect for a quiet escape from the city. However, the room next door had poor sound insulation on the night I stayed, which slightly affected my sleep quality. The room and facilities are a bit dated, so travelers who prefer a more modern style may want to confirm their room type in advance.

A hotel to keep as a secret jewel!

Wow, what a surprise! Post card views of the Tuscan landscapes, beautiful rooms, spotlessly clean, authentic design with an incredible team. Nico and Lucia were wonderful! This was a quiet, laid back family hotel. Our breakfasts in the garden patio were special. Having La Bugia nestled into this hotel with Claudio’s beautiful creations made it the perfect fit for us! We already have plans to come back, and use this as a base to explore the region more, next year! We highly recommend this property to any looking for a wonderful Italian treat.

Clean and comfy hotel.. polite and lovely staff

The lovely small hotel not far off motorway. Older style but comfortable and clean. Breakfast was a good selection and fresh. Would recommend and would stay again. Sadly restaurant was not open but reception provided the name of one 5 mins drive away which was very tasty 😋.

Contrario do que nos era informado quando alugamos o hotel, ele fica ha quase 30 km de Firense. HOtel simples mas confortavel apenas muito longe de Firense. Nao me hospedaria de novo por esse motivo. Pequeno almoço simples de mais sem nenhum atrativo tambem.

The rooms were fine and beds comfortable. Only thing that could be improved is the lights in room as they are dim and comfortable but make it hard to read. Another minor shortcoming is that there is only one outlet next to the bed for the lamp however users of a cpap breathing machine now have to choose between light or breathing machine power. The personel was very friendly and helpful. Great location at edge of village bu needs better direction sign for drive up as google sends drivers to a road that medium cars cant drive through. will stay the again if in area

We arrived late evening and Nicor was very helpfull on all our requests we had a great and very attentive meal the room was in a traditional Tuscany style clean and spacious,a bit more light would have helped,one small comment the mattress & cushions were too rigid to our taste (we are not very fond of Orthopedic beds) a great breakfast,overall an hidden Gem

I won’t stay here ever again.

It should be classified as an inn rather than a hotel. Firstly rooms and facilities are very run down. Aircon doesn’t work on a summer season. We turned it on for several hours and it’s still not cold. Asked the staff and he told us it’s bcos we keep opening the day. If not for the countryside feel, for the price I paid, I could get a beta hotel.

Characterful Old Tuscan Villa

The hotel was a wonderful old Tuscan villa building near Florence, with big wooden beams, and a tile roof. It sits in a beautiful location. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not open when we visited (in late Winter), but the staff were able to direct us to a nearby restaurant which was excellent. The internet in the hotel worked well, and the staff were quite helpful (and spoke excellent english)
