Excellent location. Very friendly staff. Older property but well maintained. Only complaints are the scratchy sheets and nowhere to hang anything wet. Also, I went off-season. I could see parking being a problem. I’ve seen people suggest in their reviews to park in the parking garage however it really looks like it belongs to another property, but I could be wrong. Buy the buffet ahead of time, delicious but very expensive. Beach chairs are managed by a third party company and are not included. Unless you really want to sit right on the water drive to Walmart and buy some.

Please do NOT book this place!!! It was a complete scam and the worst experience we’ve had in all our many years of traveling. The place DOES NOT look anything like the pictures and they know it. We booked our stay and showed up late since they do offer 24 hr check in. Went to bed and first thing in the morning left and had to book another place last minute! Place was a MOTEL not a resort as they advertise. Dirty, old, and outdated and room had obvious water damage with a smell that you couldn’t ignore. Resort fee was high for a Motel because that’s what it was plain and simple. I told them I was there less than 12 hrs of our 4 days stay and they wouldn’t refund us. I have spend weeks calling leaving voicemails and getting the run around and Expedia can’t do anything to help either. I even got charged all 4 days worth of resort fees when I was checked out with a receipt that had one night invoiced. They are NOT what they advertise and to refuse to refund any amount or even return a call to address the issue is absolutely unacceptable!

Loved our stay! The property was lovely and the beach fantastic. We traveled to several beaches during our stay and this beach was the best. Only bad side is the prices from bar. I paid 16.50 for a small mai tai. No worries I alway travel with wine.

The manager and kitchen staff was very rude, well only to the African Americans. There are alot of surprise charges that are not mention until you reach the property. Like 8 for a bottle of smart water.

The only real complaint we had was they charge a daily “resort fee” , which is a bit ridiculous being it is basically a hotel . They also charged a daily parking fee which we had no knowledge of until check in . If we had that information prior to making the reservation, it may have changed our choice since it significantly increased the cost of our stay.
