The hotel restaurant was stunning and staff were friendly. The room was small. We had a light switch that was broken and could not be fixed during our stay, the throw pillows had stains and the tv would only let us access Netflix by connecting through another room which a staff member said happens. I was disappointed considering it was not a cheap stay.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the Hyde Hotel. The hotel is outstanding all around. It’s centrally located to everything in Galway including all the touristy spots (Spanish Arch, Latin Quarter, Galway Museum etc). You can walk to everything (so many pubs I lost count!). The rooms and common areas were decorated beautifully and very comfortable and the staff were amazing. They really went out of their way to make for a great trip. The restaurant within the hotel was amazing with higher end delicious food/ingredients and the service was impeccable. This hotel should be a 4+/5 star hotel. We will 100% be staying here again when in Galway and definitely recommend it to others.
