We stayed in Royal Palace Hotel for several days in early January and again after our trip to Halong bay. The hotel is fabulous and the staff are really amazing. They could not have been more helpful and were always pleasant and friendly. They stored our luggage while we were away in the bay and gave us an even better room on our return. Breakfast was great too. The location is excellent and you an walk to all the sites and the rare great restaurants within walking distance. This is a wonderful place to stay, you will love it.

Very friendly, flexible and knowledgeable staff made out stay comfortable. Breakfast with local specialty and western dishes was tasty. Clothes change space /shower facility was provided after check out, which was helpful as we checked out in the morning and took late night flight on the check out day.

From the moment we entered, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming (we even got refreshing welcome drinks). Our room had a fruit bowl waiting for us when we got there and they added a water bottle for each one of us every morning! They remembered our name all throughout the stay, which made it feel so much more special! The room was clean and had everything we needed. The hotel is situated in a very convenient spot in Hanoi and we were able to access wherever we wanted to go easily. The breakfast was delicious with a large variety of options as well as a menu (also very varied). The staff even called a car to take us to the airport! The room had a TV and Wifi. We slept really well as you can barely hear the outside noise.

Hanoi for a night

Only stayed one night. Arrived 17.30 the reception was great and helpful. Walking up two flights to get the lift might be a problem for some. Overall it was well worth the price

We stayed in the Royal palace hotel for a week while in Hanoi and couldn’t have been happier with our stay, from welcome drinks on arrival (and check out) to the friendly attentive staff. Special mention to our room cleaner (Ms Nga) who we spoke to most mornings, she did a great job. We would recommend staying here as a modern, comfortable and friendly place to stay and reset from the busy Hanoi streets! We also had laundry done for a very reasonable price and the hotel receptionist kindly facilitated a late checkout also on request. Thanks to all the staff, cam on!

The location was perfect. Train street, Ho Hoan Kheim Lake, night market, as well as many other popular landmarks are within a 5-15 min walk from this hotel. We were upgraded to an executive Bancony upon arrival too! Our room was very clean and quiet, even through the weekend. The windows adequately blocked out the sound of the busy traffic below. Breakfast was always fresh and includes a few made-to-order items included in our booking price. The staff here was very accommodating and attentive. They made booking our day tour of Ha Long Bay quick and easy. Thank you to the concierge and breakfast staff for making our stay comfortable and our bellies full :)

We highly recommend this hotel. From arriving to departing the staff were really accommodating and helped with booking trips and recommending restaurants and sites to visit. Rooms were really clean and well equipped. Hotel is well positioned in the old town and close to all the sites. Special thanks to Jennie for her help in getting us on a Halong Bay cruise an hour before departing! Big thank you to all the staff. Will definitely return in the future.

This boutique hotel is in the heart of the old quarter of Ha Noi. This is a great location within walking distance of many shops, restaurants and attractions including the lake. The staff really go above and beyond from the warm welcome through to accommodating all of your needs and any requests you may have. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. Truly appreciated the fruit and snacks in the room that are provided each day. The rain shower is also very lovely! The daily buffet and a la carte breakfast (included with your room) is lovely. Truly a jewel in Vietnam and I will be back again if I ever return to Ha Noi!

After our plans have been cancelled on very short notice we just looked for a hotel close the original quarter we were staying in and stumbled upon this beautiful hotel. We were greeted wit fresh cinnamon tee and snacks. The rooms are super clean and nice with a lot of attention to detail. Anything you might have forgotten at home is provided for, like razor kid, toothbrush etc. As well as some free water and fresh fruit in the room. We ate at the breakfast buffet with local and European food and you can also order items from a menu. The staff was super nice and organised a transfer to the airport for us. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to travel in comfort and style.

Couldn’t have asked for a better experience when visiting Vietnam for my first time. The staff here, in particular, Jennie, jimmi, huong have all been very welcoming and really show their first class hospitality skills to the hotel guests. Having worked at a hotel in a big city myself, this hotel and their staff really has it down packed from their housekeeping staff to the front of house. First class all around. They have all been very welcoming and really adds to the experience. The room is very spacious. The bed is very big and we could not hear one sound from the busy streets of Hanoi. I would recommend this hotel to all my friends and anyone considering visiting Hanoi. This should be the first option on your list!

This is the second time in 2024 that we have stayed at the Royal palace Hotel, and it is always a great pleasure to feel so good once through the door of this hotel. The welcome is perfect, all the staff are attentive, available, smiling, efficient. The quality of the room is really very good, very pleasant to live in. The buffet-style breakfast is varied and plentiful and of very good quality. The hotel is well located, close to old Hanoi on a busy street but the rooms we occupied were very quiet day and night. We really recommend this hotel which has excellent value for money.

From arrival to the moment you leave, this hotel goes above and beyond to be as helpful as possible. Rooms are clean, and well serviced. The breakfast is a great buffet selection but you are also able to order ala carte as well. All reception staff are really polite and helped us organise trips during our stay. Highly recommend this hotel which is perfect location yet surprisingly quiet for a stay in Hanoi!

All of the staff were fantastic and very helpful and supportive. The buffet breakfast was great with both Asian and western influences and a wide range of choices. The rooms were quite nice and all you had to do was flick a switch to “make up room” and when u come back after exploring your whole room is tidied- it’s fantastic!
