First, regarding early check-in: prior to our arrival, we were informed that the early check-in fee would be $25. However, upon arrival, we were charged $75 instead. This discrepancy was never properly explained and felt unfair.
Second, the room we were assigned was much smaller than what was advertised online. The photos and descriptions did not accurately represent the actual room we received, which was very disappointing.
The most serious issue was the malfunctioning water heater. On our first morning at around 6:00 AM, we contacted the front desk because there was no hot water. We were told to wait because other rooms were using the shower. Later, we were informed that someone would check the issue at 8:00 AM. Unfortunately, we had no choice but to shower in cold water.
That afternoon, the water heater was still not working, so we called again. A maintenance staff member came and worked on it for about 30 minutes before the water finally heated up. We were told to call the front desk again if the problem continued so we could be transferred to another room.
Despite this, the water heater stopped working again the following day. Since it was Christmas Day and our last night, we felt there was no point in contacting the front desk again. The shower would suddenly stop while in use, and the heater repeatedly failed. Overall, the lack of proper customer service and follow-through was extremely frustrating.
