Do not book this until all renovation work finishe

Mid-selling of location on website - the rooms shown are clearly artist impression of ongoing renovation works. No mention of renovation works when booking. The king standard room I booked was like something 60 plus years ago; dirty dated and unkempt. Radiator hanging off Curtains hanging off and dirty Lighting not working in room No air con No bar as shown in pictures ! Do I need to Continue !

Badly in need of updating

Hotel is undergoing renovations. Restaurant is closed and there is only a small area to sit in lobby. Most rooms are badly in need of updating - peeling paint, cracked and discolored caulk in bath, outdated electrical. For the price, the only advantage was location!

Sink wouldn’t drain, electrical socket broke, bed was horrible and taco’s, and I had to leave the room due to the jack hammering from 9-5. I had work calls and had to leave bc I couldn’t hear. Staff said they were fully booked.

Our room was disgusting! Nothing like the photos online. The rugs were buckled, peeling paint, tattered curtains, and breakfast was a joke! I requested a change of room which was granted, but the second room wasn't much better. Not to mention the first morning we had NO HOT WATER! The only good thing was the location.

Simple check in process. Super convenient parking. Centrally located. The hotel just needs to keep working on refurbishments and it will improve tremendously. Great place for a budget stay with the family.

Room was clean and comfortable. Very nice and helpful housekeeping staff. Also when I needed help extend my stay, staff worked to accommodate my extended stay. What I DID NOT LIKE: bathtub has cracks in it. Water seepage has caused tub to become spongy and uncomfortable on the bottom. Also no tub plug. Couldn’t take bath. And housekeepers staff did not have adequate supplies on cart. No hand towels first day. No washcloths second day. No regular coffee available on cart. Only decaf. When I asked, staff got the items and brought them to me, but they should have had adequate supplies on their carts. Coffee pot did not work first day. Had to call for help to fix or replace it.
