I was told I would get a renovated room instead I was placed in a dirty old room where it smelled weird, the bed you could feel the coils from how cheap it was, the bathroom floor had broken tiles and the tub floor was completely made into a ballon when you stepped into it literally the floor of the tub deflated. Really bad hotel rooms, they were also doing construction so the noice was unbearable in the lobby. Very sad that I needed the room and last minute I would have to pay much more otherwise I would have never stayed there

Don’t stay here!

They are having renovations. I’m not sure if any of the rooms are completed yet, but ours was disgusting. Dirty, worn out carpet and furniture. And the mattress was ancient. Mold in the bathroom. Air conditioning barely functioning.

Disgusted in NY

The room was a disgrace. Filthy, broken furniture, dirty floors, a running toilet, leaky faucet, chipped paint and a broken lock. The photos in the website were not close to being a for representation and they also showed a renovation yet to be completed as what we should expect. It was too late for us to leave and we discussed with the manager in the am upon check out. We were also travelling with our special needs son. They offered points as the booking was through Hotels.com and claimed they couldn’t touch the price as such. I’ve never written a review or complaint before and as a business traveler and family traveler for over 50 years, this was the worst experience I’ve ever had, exacerbated by the $600 charge for one night.

A door man is very weird. He tried his best to avoid providing service on me and embarrassing yelling me all the time. He really targets on me all the time for several days without any reasons. Other servers are quite normal and helpful. It is a very rare and abnormal situation in the New York hotel system.

The only thing in the photo here that looked like the first room I was assigned, was the window. Nothing else. Encountering a bathroom mirror with malfunctioning lights was disappointing for a traveling female, and when told it might take an undisclosed long time to correct, I opted to move to another room. The second space shown had twin beds that appeared to large for the space. Also in first room, coffee pot was leaking water and I had not used it. I left in late night to seek safer feeling accommodations. If I hadn't rented a car, I would have remained miserable. But front desk was very kind when I expressed my disappointment, and told me renovations would be done in near future.

The room was definitely not up to expectations for the price paid. The dresser drawers were broken, there were not enough plug-ins in convientant places. The ice machine on floor 9 was broken for two days until it finally was fixed.The room was definitly clean and our cleaning lady was amazing. However, it was very outdated. Somewhat dissappointed.

The room was very poorly kept. In the photos I was expecting what I paid for. I do understand that renovations were taking place but please ensure that you communicate to your guest that if a room isn’t remodeled or matches the photos to understand that people will be pissed off.

The room had several issues: • Water leaks in both the shower and sink • Not enough or easily accessible outlets to charge phones • Mattresses of only regular quality • No space to sit and have breakfast • No restrooms available in the lobby Additionally, the “breakfast” offered was very disappointing: it consisted of a piece of fruit, a piece of bread in a bag, and coffee or juice, more like a lunchbox than a proper breakfast. Overall, the price is very high for what you actually get.
