The hotel is in an industrial area. It is nothing like the photo. We did not stay there. We did not feel safe. We went and found another hotel.

This is a bargain hunter's dream. Parking is free! There are many walkable places to eat around this hotel. If you have a car, you are close to the freeway. We are out and about everyday on vacation far from expensive Waikiki. Our goal is beach time not tourist sites.

This property is quaint and reminds me of how Hawai’i used to be. The front desk was very friendly and sweet. The room is small and clean with a bar fridge, tiny microwave oven and air conditioning. They have a bar and area to gather to socialize, eat, etc and a courtyard with a large fire pit. Dining options are limited and require a car or Uber.

Has many problems, not good

The shuttle driver for our late night arrival was not helpful. Didn’t even open the doors for us or help load our baggage. The lobby photo on the website is misleading: it looks too good and doesn’t represent that this is a rundown place to simply exist before your next flight. The room was not very clean and the surroundings were noisy so we had to run the air conditioner just for white noise to be able to sleep. There are no food options nearby for late arrivals. The hotel’s bar and restaurant close early and the bar is over air conditioned. It’s too cold and you can’t take your drinks outside to escape the frigid conditions. The pool was locked whenever we were there. The water to the entire hotel shut off in the morning just when you need to shower and use the toilet. It’s way overpriced.

The staff was outstanding but the room was in bad shape. Vents need replaced and the drywall was damaged in several areas. I slept well but was put off by the things that could be easily repaired but were not getting the attention it needed.
