Awesome Hotel

My experience was awesome. The staff was particularly helpful. Melvin checked me in and waived an early check-in fee. Fernando took pictures and set-up a nice photo op for my sister who visited me during my stay, The drivers took me to my medical appts in a timely manner and even drove me to get food. The hotel was very clean and inviting. The view and pool area was amazing. I felt safe and welcomed! I'd choose the hotel every time 10 out 10!

This property is only good online, save your money. When I arrived I had to wait an additional 30mins for a room. When I arrived in my room there were technicians still in my room, and as a female solo traveler it’s not very welcoming to see a lot of men at the time of me entering my room. They were in my room apparently because the TV did not work and the hotel stated it cannot be fixed during my stay, I was told I was getting $25 discount on my rate but of course as I followed up regarding the discount with other staff members, they could “not confirm I was ever told that”, typical. The room is dirty, not well kept, the towels had stains on them & I simply just did not feel welcomed in this hotel. I hope there are changes that can be made within this establishment so no one has to experience what I had too.

First time in Houston. The location of the hotel was great. I did not like that I was given an accessible room meant for those with disabilities due to that I did not like the shower and also wondered why they wouldn’t leave that room for someone who is disabled. The room was not as clean as it should’ve been. The chair at the desk in my room was wobbly. I loved the hotel aesthetic and the restaurant in the hotel was good. I never received the voucher towards my food. Hotel was busy due to it being rodeo season. I may try the hotel one more time during a less peak time.

I was overcharged $420 and I took ME over 5 hours to get a manager on the phone. They initiated a refund but no other compensation was offered despite the major inconvenience it has caused ME.
