Very outdated hotel. The kitchen was decent, the furniture was full of stains, the carpet was filthy & some of the bathroom fixtures were a lil rusty but the water pressure was good, the staff was friendly & the cookies were delicious! Overall I would rate this hotel a 3 out of 5 stars.

The room is run down, old stained furniture, scratched desk, dirty and overall in poor condition. I have stayed in dozens of Double Tree hotels through the country. This is more like a Best Western or Days Inn. I would not recommend or pay this much ever.

Great location close to Galleria mall. Very well maintained hotel. Great staff, quick check-in. Fast elevator, easy self- or valet parking at a convenient rate. Bar, restaurant on site but plenty of dining options outside the hotel. Great price, too. I fully recommend it.

Not Up To Double Tree Standards

The hotel lobby was in great shape but my room not so much. There was huge red stain on the carpet near the door which had me questioning the rest of the room cleanliness. The water pressure was low and the water would not heat up. The bathroom paint was bubbled up and peeling. The swing sofa had stains and the office chair was cracked and peeling. I am not a person to give bad reviews but this hotel stay warranted it one. With the Galleria Mall, Ruth Chris, and The Capital Grill in walking distance you would one would think this hotel would be in better condition

The extra blanket left in the room felt like straw. It would have been nice to have a softer blanket. Helpful to have all the need dishes and utensils in the dishwasher. Maybe add one pan that would be safe to use in the oven.
