CAR BROKEN INTO & ZERO COOPERATION FROM STAFF. First night of our trip our car was broken into with a bunch of our valuables stolen. We contacted the front desk and hotel manager to see if we could get camera footage. The manager said he would look that day and give us a call when he found something. He told us they installed brand new cameras the week before and assured us that there would be some footage of what happened. Long story short we never got a call that day. We stayed 3 more nights and asked the front desk every chance we got if there was anything. It was excuse after excuse. Our last day we checked out and asked to see it right there and then before we left. They made the excuse that only the manager had the video on his phone and he wouldn’t be there until later. We called after a few hours and the female working the front desk hung up on both of us once we stated why we called. We gave it another hour or so and called again, they had blocked both our phone numbers. All we wanted was some answers.

Recent painting had paint splatters on the door left a solid line of paint on the tiles. Sloopy paint job makes one wonder if the same quality of work extended to other areas.

Staff friendly. Did not feel safe inside the hotel at times. People would walk in the hotel at random hours through the night with cash and leave several minutes later. Throughout the day, random people would just come in the hotel and sit in the lobby for hours.

The hotel condition was not amazing, but you get what you pay for during the Indy 500 weekend. The key card situation was a little terrifying. You could request for a new room key and the staff did not check your identity whatsoever. They would hand you a key to the room and deactivate any of the others. No joke, every time we needed to get into the room we had to request for a new key and they never asked us for proof of staying there.

Everyone was nice, except for the rotten apple under the chair. Also I didn't plan on paying an extra $100 for a deposit for an already overpriced room. It's been a week and I still haven't gotten my refund as nothing was wrong with our room when we left. Deposits should be refunded ASAP just like the property wanting their money ASAP

Bathtub didn't have hot water. lukewarm only. When checking with the hotel staff, "I was asked if I let it run for 5-7 minutes". They sent a hotel staff to double check if the water really didn't heat up. Who expects to run the shower water for 5-7 minutes at a hotel. Since it didn't they changed my room.
