The staff, I can't say enough good things about. The cleanliness in the bathrooms... not sure it if was just bad luck, but it wasn't the best. However, they were minor things.

Receptionist is more concerned about what they can sell you instead of giving us the orientation about the hotel when we got in . Bellman offered us a better deal when he walked us in the room which is a little turn off

The Hotel Arcadia is ideally located in the center of the old Istanbul. Most of the touristic attractions are nearby which is great given that we like to walk to take the “pulse” of the cities and places we visit. However, the room that we were assigned upon checking in was far below par. (Room 201) A bad smell that resembles the smell of a sewer was present and the room/furniture was dirty. Some light bulbs were burnt out and there was issues with some of the light switches that were not functioning. To top it all, the heating/ventilation system was defective (too hot and too cold at times) not mentioning the presence of mould in the shower area and a floor that was in need of tender loving care. After complaining about all this for three days, we were finally a “normal, functioning and clean” room. (When we reserved our room at the Arcadia Blue, the room we chose was said to be a “Deluxe” room.). The new room was ok but certainly not what we were expecting from a great hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. That’s probably the best attribute of this centrally located hotel. The breakfast were excellent as well with a good variety to choose from. All in all, we would recommend the Arcadia Blue to other travellers but be aware of the deficiencies that we have highlighted in this review. The owner(s) of this hotel need(s) to invest some money in the infrastructure of this hotel. Tourism is a lucrative industry in Turkey and the tourists ate important.

I had a great stay here, comfortable and spacious room. Breakfast was amazing at the rooftop restaurant with stunning views of the landscape and landmarks. Definitely recommend this hotel. Staff were always happy to help

Great Istanbul Hotel

All around great experience at Hotel Arcadia Blue. The standard room with a little extra cost for a good view was well worth it: amazing sights right out the room window. One lamp in the room flickered and did not seem safe to use. The plastic safety cover on the TV was dirty and scratched making television not fun to watch, but who is in Istanbul for that? Very helpful and friendly staff from start to finish. Breakfast is not buffet, but it is on the top floor with the incredible views and is excellent, if you include it, you just order from a menu and it is all included. There is a treadmill in the basement for cold days along with some weights and a spa. Walking distance to the Grand Bazaar and easy tram trips all over the place from just steps away. Quiet hotel, all needs met immediately. Good thermostat control in the room. Will stay again for sure! Thank you, everyone at hotel Arcadia Blue.

I highly recommend the place. The staff are warmly welcoming, the room was so clean. Had a meniu for the breakfast not a buffet. The restaurant has a very beautiful view even the room we got. Only one thing I can comment negatively about is the silence in the early morning, some people as my case who arrive by 1 am or 2 and the staffs start cleaning rooms by 6-8 the thing that woke me up :/

The awesome view of the Blue Mosque, Hagai Sophia and the Boshorus straight is breath taking. Free breakfast has a large selection. Modern amenities, one of the most modern that I’ve stayed yet. Staff is wonderful and you must take advantage of their Turkish bath and Sauna!

Excellent place. The staff is friendly and always willing to help. The location is walkable, close to several places to eat and very close to the tram station. We spent New Year's Eve there in their facilities and it was incredible. Recommended.

I like the location of this hotel as it is near to blue mosque and other tourist attractions. We used to walk all these places. Only issue is taxis not go at hotel doors so if someone elderly and don't walk then it be little discomforting.
