Very beautiful property, large spacious room with an inviting and beautifully decorated shared common area. Location is in a safe area, quick and easily accessible to many attractions/restaurants. This is my second time staying at The Truitt and I will definitely do it again!

The location is right in the heart of the museum district and convenient to Country Club Plaza and just a short drive from The Crossroads and downtown KC. The quiet neighborhood was charming and the property is well-maintained and welcoming. A new favorite.

I enjoy staying the the Truitt when I visit the Kansas City area. The hotel is lovely and the area is close to many good places to eat, shop and explore. I’ve stayed about 5 times now in the last couple of months and consider it a sort of “Home away from Home” . Just lovely .

Staying at the Truitt Hotel was an absolutely amazing experience! This historic mansion is beautifully restored and decorated with stunning vintage furniture and decor, creating an atmosphere that is both elegant and inviting. Every detail, from the thoughtfully designed rooms to the warm hospitality, made my stay unforgettable. The blend of old-world charm and modern comfort is perfection. I can’t recommend this place enough—if you’re looking for a unique and luxurious stay, the Truitt Hotel is a must!

I had a great experience at The Truitt. The hosts were very helpful via email and text. I was sent all of the door codes & parking info well ahead of time before check-in. They provided wonderful recommendations on where to go for drinks and live music. The home is gorgeous, stylish, hip, clean… all the things. The bed was extremely comfortable and my room had an attached deck. The other Truitt location is right across the street and is decorated differently but is also such a vibe…. So many windows and lots of natural light 😍 I will be back and be telling everyone I know how great it is!

I loved how different this stay was from any other hotel. You just felt transported to a place of your own which is so amazing compared to what you usually find. Ryan was so helpful and was easily reachable at a moments notice. Will definitely be coming back!
