Rental was clean and well stocked. We took advantage of the beach gear (chairs, cooler, etc), which made the trip much easier. The kids wore themselves out at the pool on more than one occasion and we all enjoyed wandering the resort as well as the local neighborhood.

Accommodations are great for families traveling with small children and for adults traveling with another couple. The floor plan works well with two separate bedrooms separated by a shared living room and kitchen. The third toilet is a nice luxury.One should note that although the name has the word resort in it, I would not categorize this location as a full on resort as the food choices on property are extremely limited. The onsite restaurant opens at 4pm and there is no room service. That being said there are plenty of food options within walking and driving distance.The kids enjoyed the pool and pool slide. It was the right size to fell comfortable with kids.The owner/management of our accommodations was very responsive and accommodating.Side note, if you forget something needed for your toddler or baby there are plenty of rental options available that do drop off and are extremely affordable. We specifically used Shayleen Moore for a few items.

Perfect home for our family vacation!

This was the perfect location for our Hawaii beach getaway. The condo had plenty of room, very clean, and kitchen was fully equipped. Lots of amenities like beach, equipment, chairs, cooler, umbrella, etc..The beach front resort had a huge pool complete with slides and hot tub. Also walking distance to restaurants. We definitely plan on returning, thank you!

Perfect home base for island adventures

We’ve stayed at Waipouli Beach Resort before and we love the location — Safeway and shave ice across the street, the great pool with slides and towel service, the proximity to Kapa’a by foot, etc.We loved going a couple minutes down the street to Lydgate Park to relax in the gentle waves. We did a lot of hiking and the condo was a perfect home base for all our activities. We can’t wait to return.

Good location on the island for access to other areas. Convenient for groceries and restaurants close by (walking distance). Beach not very swimmable for intermediates but wading was good and the sunrise was beautiful

Waipouli Beach Resort RM D201

Overall stay was pleasant. Resort is close to airport and beaches. There is a shopping plaza (Safeway, Ross, ABC store, etc.) right across the street, very convenient. This room doesn’t have a “view” it’s facing the resort parking lot. The unit was very clean, AC worked well, there is a ceiling fan in each room. The decor is a bit out dated, but the room/resort came with all the necessary amenities (shampoo, body wash, dish soap, laundry detergent, beach chairs, cooler, beach umbrella, beach towels, and cooler). The unit also came with parking and washer/dryer. We enjoyed the pool, water slide, and hot tub! However, I was not enough hand soap and toilet paper to last our 6 day stay. I was expecting these important/basic amenities to be provided for the price. Overall good space for family's with kids and groups.

Great stay on the coconut coast!

We loved our stay at this condo. The pool is amazing and never crowded, and hot tubs available for adults and a family one. Staff were very friendly, facilities were clean, and the location was great for getting around to each part of the island. My parents have stayed at other places in Kauai and were really happy with the accommodations. We would definitely come back!

Kauai spring break

The condo was beautiful as listed and reminded us of our visit there 15 years ago. All was up to date and in order. We were a little confused when arriving as we didn’t get the arrival email so spent some time figuring out how to access the condo. Once we contacted the property manager we had immediate information.

First Time in Kauai!

We loved this condo and the convenience to Safeway and the stores across the street. Location tight near Kapaa was perfect, central to both north and south routes to explore the island. We love Kauai and will definitely be back!

Spacious and clean

We enjoyed out stay and would most likely stay here again. The resort was conveniently located within walking distance to Safeway and many restaurants. The pool area was awesome and we spent many pool days there.

Okay place to stay

The pool at the resort was beautiful and beach access was easy, however it was not possible to swim here due to the rocky ledges only a few feet into the water. That was not stated in the listing. The condo was smaller than anticipated with only 3 chairs at the dining room table. We had to pull it away from the wall and bring out a desk chair in order to sit at the table. Then it was nearly impossible to move around the living room area. The king sized bed was way too soft for me and it was quite worn with impressions on both sides. The toilet in the king bed room flushed fine but would not refill the tank most of the time. It was a pain to take the lid off almost every time to adjust it so that it would fill. Be prepared to bring everything you need to cook because there are only a few spices and nothing else. There were ample pots and pans though. The living room furniture is showing age and the arms of all pieces were pretty dirty. Just felt old and a bit icky. There were lots of towels available and a couple small shampoos to use. The one shower is very small...bumped elbows on the walls every time you moved to wash. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai in the mornings listening to the roosters crow. The mountain view was pretty. I would have liked some recommendations for restaurants in the area. Overall it was an okay stay. Would I chose it again...probably not.

Great condo in great location. We loved Kauai! The condo was in a great resort with a nice beach area and a restaurant as well as a great pool with hot tub, lazy river and slides. Highly recommend!!!

Had a great stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect- not far from the airport, central location to easily get to the north and south areas of the island, and in walking distance to grocery, restaurants and all that you need. The place was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Got to see a Monk seal on the beach and the pool was awesome! I would recommend!

Family Vacation

The large kitchen was nice for our family of 2 adults and 3 adult children. The kitchen was equipped with everything except nonstick pan spray and pepper. It would have been a nice touch if you provided coffee pods too. The beds were WAY to soft for our liking. They killed our back. But the place was nice and spacious and everything was very clean.
