Dear Paul, Thank you for your feedback. We are definitely away from the city center, however distance in Kathmandu is relative and the tranquil environment we have created with our hotel architecture and ambiance does give our guest a sense of isolation from the hustle and bustle that Kathmandu is now known to be. Furthermore, we do have a city shuttle service (drop only) for our guests looking to venture down town. The 5 minute walk to Boudhanath Stupa, a UNESCO world Heritage site, is from our back gate, which indeed is a retreat to guests visiting the area.
