A very nice hotel!

We don’t have one thing to complain about. The staff were super helpful and nice and spoke good English, the room was very clean, spacious and comfortable and the breakfast options were amazing. We stayed for a whole week and didn’t have to venture out for breakfast because the variety was so good. This was a very nice hotel! The restaurant also had amazing options for dinner that we did a couple of nights as well. Our flight ended up getting rescheduled a day earlier and the staff were super helpful in refunding our last day since we were checking out early which was amazing. I would definitely return here and recommend this place 100%.

Such a cute hotel with great breakfast. Unfortunately we had an issue with one of our breakfast buffets. We asked for a lower table due to elderly parents and a baby. We were asked to come back in 30 minutes due to our table size (6 people). When we finally got the call the waiter told us we had to sit on the high table. We explicitly told me we needed a smaller table and couldn't sit on high chairs, he didn't seem to care and said that was all that was available. We had issues with the baby chair being lower than the table and our elderly parents found it difficult to eat. Not a great experience, but the rest was great

We had an enjoyable 5 night stay at this hotel. It is in a good location with temples and Gion’s photogenic streets just steps away. I cannot recommend the bakery enough - superb bread! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The rooftop bar was great and reasonably priced. Our only criticism would be the lack of closet space and drawers. Our room was very spacious but we had to keep almost everything in our suitcases. Other than that, everything else was amazing.

Excellent hotel in a great part of Kyoto. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The bakery that operates in the lobby was outstanding, as was their coffee. Everything was clean and the room was comfortable. Nice rooftop bar when the weather was nice. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful hotel

The rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Food was really good and staff very helpful and efficient. The only downside was the location is too far from any major shopping areas. Not too far from subway station.

We were so impressed and grateful for this hotel! It’s honestly perfect in every way. From quiet and spacious rooms, incredible ambiance, impeccable cleanliness, delicious food, every convenience for our stay, and a short walk to everything in Gion as well as the train. The shower and bath is something we will miss (until we renovate our home to match!). I couldn’t recommend this place more.

Stayed here with my wife for our anniversary. The hospitality and service were top notch. They are very easy to work with for international tourists. Luggage forwarding was easy to use here as well. The rooms were really nice and spacious. The location wasn’t super close to the shops downtown but it’s a quick taxi ride over. Overall I would highly recommend staying here!
