We stayed at The Royal Park Hotel while in Kyoto. Hotel location is convenient - train station & bus stop is walking distance. There is also a cafe/brunch spot right next door that has great breakfast options & pastries. Shopping areas are also close by. The room itself is clean and comfortable. We would stay here again.

10/10!!! This was by far the favorite hotel we stayed at in Japan. The room size was very comfortable and modern. The location was exceptional as you are right in the heart of Kyoto, just walking distance from all the shops and restaurants. Additionally, the train station was just up the road less than 5 minutes away. It is very clean and the staff was very helpful. They even received our luggage shipment from Tokyo and helped us with shipping our luggage to the next hotel in Osaka. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to stay in a beautiful room and great location!
