How in the world is this a 5 star hotel?

The toilets won’t flush properly. The bathtub/shower was leaking water to the bathroom floor. The decor was from the last century and very dated. The door from the parking to the reception from the back was closed and we had to walk all around the place to get in. The chairs in the hallways leading to the room were dirty looking. There was no elevator to get to our floor and I had to haul multiple suitcases up and down the stairs.

Beautiful lobby, rooms need work

The lobby vs rooms is incongruent. Lobby is cute and updated. Rooms are tired and old. Our bathroom faucet was rusted and missing a piece and the drain was impossibly slow.

My say was good bed a bit to warm woke with the sweet running off me. Staff behind reception were nice and friendly. The waitress could do with acting less professional. And Actually interact with guest at the hotel.
