It was a nice hotel, and the room was clean, but the bathroom could have been cleaner. There was hair on the counter, in the sink, and in the shower. Also, we stayed on the 8th floor. Unbeknownst to us, this is the pool floor. It was very noisy with all the foot traffic to and from the pool during pool hours. People were talking loudly and laughing. I would stay here again, but NOT on the 8th floor. I imagine the gym floor may be the same as well (3 I think).

The room itself was in good condition and clean. The bathroom looked as though the staff wasn’t quite finished. Toilet paper was on the sink and a piece of it was also there. The room wouldn’t cool down enough to allow for good sleep.

The hotel is old and dirty. Showers do not have doors, water got luke warm at best. The hotel reeked of smoke. The carpets were dirty and old. The casino had cheap tables and dealers were fun. I will gamble here again, but I will not stay at the hotel here in the future. To be fair, it was cheap to stay there so I guess I got what I paid for.

I’ve stayed at The STRAT many times over the years and always chose it as my go-to spot in Vegas, but this recent stay was extremely disappointing. The room felt neglected — the TV didn’t work, the toilet was broken, and overall the space lacked the cleanliness and upkeep I’ve come to expect. What made it worse was the attitude of management. When I asked for help, the response was dismissive and downright hostile. The staff clearly need better customer service and de-escalation training. It’s unfortunate, because I’ve always enjoyed staying here in the past, but after this experience, I’ll be looking elsewhere in the future.
