This is a lovely hotel which from the outside is dark and not particularly attractive. Noise was out of their control so a shame. Room clean and comfortable and with extras like a coffee machine, water and free mini bar. What makes this hotel is the location. As a solo woman traveller I could walk to the river, bridges, bars , lake and attractions within minutes so felt very safe. But even better is the front desk staff 24/7.

Good location, not great stay

Hotel seemed under construction, room was nowhere near as nice as the images, and bathroom was dirty. We were charged a resort fee even though there are literally zero amenities on property. Would not recommend unless it's fully renovated.

Good location with average service.

The room was a little smaller than expected. When I called the reception for a wine opener and a top up of milk capsules for the coffee (2 separate occassions), i was told to go down to the reception with my bottle of wine as they only had 1 wine opener. When I headed down, I was then sent to the restaurant. It didnt feel like they have a standard process. Location was great nonetheless.

This hotel is near the train station and old town. The staffs at reception was great and friendly until we went into room 106. It has some smell. The fan noise was a little loud. I assumed it just kicked in and would calm down later. Unfortunately i woke up around at 4 am. I thought i was in an engine room.i couldn't go back to sleep. The smell appeared stronger. Complained to the house keeper. She opened the window to ventilate the room. It helped but problems remained the same. The fan noise lowered to a more acceptable level. Let's be fair, this hotel is in a good location and has friendly staffs. I would return to this hotel if the fan noise and smells are not there

Property is in the middle of renovations as well as construction outside of property made for a very loud stay. Staff was great in trying their best to accommodate moving rooms to lessen the noise, but there was definitely a disruption. Current hotel rooms in need of an update, but once all rooms are updated the property will look amazing. Excellent location steps away from Old Town & the train station. Plenty of dining options available steps away from the hotel.

Location was excellent and right next to the city center and train station. Staff was friendly and helpful. Construction was ongoing and right outside our bedroom window with construction starting at 7;00am. It was impossible to sleep with the early morning drilling. Otherwise, the room was adequately stocked and nightly turndown service was appreciated.

Location was great for our 2 night stay in Luzern. 5 min walk from the train station. The breakfast food and staff at Bacio restaurant onsite could be greatly improved. We were asked to move seats at 9am on Sunday so they could set up the afternoon service (brunch was listed to last until 11am). Sadly all the hot food was lukewarm/cold as well.

Perfect location for touring around. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Excellent choice at breakfast time. Lucerne is beautiful and definitely worth visiting.

My husband was in a snowboarding accident and I kept extending my stay. The staff was amazing and understanding , and even asked about my husband almost daily. The bed was a little hard but they brought me a topper.
