Set up for a great experience

Staff was great, upon arriving early I asked If my bags could be there while I explored. I was surprised by service desk! They said the room had already been cleaned and that I could check in! I can't express how much easier this made my trip and honestly set me up for a great time downtown Lynchburg.

Staff had to miss us since we were in a bad room on the parking lot side. They were nice and helpful. No food. Vending machines not working. Good location but downtown dead and nowhere to walk the dog at night

Unfortunately the heat did not work in the building. The lobby and each floor was really cold. The room has heat options but as soon as you walk out of the room you are hit with freezing air.

Atrocious hotel - avoid at all costs

Truly awfully looked after hotel. Desperately in need of some renovation and an army of cleaners. Room wasn’t cleaned or serviced at all over a 4 night stay. Pretty sure I had bed bugs or something because on the last day I woke up itchy and covered in bites. My room key broke just about every time I left the room and although the front desk staff were lovely people, you could tell they get a lot of complaints.

Very clean, quiet, pleasant staff and free parking in the adjacent garage. Totally walkable if you want to check out downtown (that’s what we did). The only criticism, and it’s minor, is that it’s a little dated and could use a refresh. Looks very late 80’s early 90’s. But it’s a hotel and not a house you’re trying to buy, so how much does that matter?
