Anytime I’m in town this is my goto hotel as it’s always clean, staff is nice an welcoming. The manager on duty at night is always very pleasant an this is the best hotel in Lynchburg.

The location was great. The first room we were assigned the key cards would not work, tried two different sets, the.n the next room the key cards work but the toilet kept mysteriously running. Finally the third room was ok but the bathroom was dirty and it didn’t look like they had truly cleaned the corners.

Our stay was okay. We had several issues with the key card lock on our door. Also pool was not open. A/C unit in room barely cooled the room. The ice machines on most of the floors were broken. Pictures online for the hotel were definitely taken several years ago.

Upon check in I was greeted very nicely but informed by the staff member that housekeeping was not available during my stay. I found this strange but I did see housekeeping in the halls the next day. This did inconvenience me slightly since I booked these rooms for my family coming in for a surprise 80th birthday. In the event they needed to freshen up, rest or have somewhere relax while waiting for our next event. I will learn from this experience and ask ahead what the hotel policy is on housekeeping before zi book my next stay.
