Good if you come to a meetings with Telefonica

The place are quiet and near to Telefonica. The metro is in Telefonica but there are not much places near by, just the small mall la moraleja green.

No heater, had to change rooms

I guess location is the key to this one. If you are working near by, since this is a business district, then its ok to walk. There is a mall near by. dont expect anything to be open on weekends. Not allot of food choices but a great resturaunt connected to the Hotel ( la buferia? ). The wine is exceptional around here. My hotel room was outdated and carpets stained and moldy. The rooms are huge but not much maintenance has been done. Toilet ran all night, no heat. Had to swap rooms

Near Telefonica, but very old fashion and run down

Hotel is a dump. Will not stay here again. The sound from the water pipes or air conditioning was so loud that it disrupted sleep. Room looked like it was designed in the '80s.

The stay was great at this hotel. There is a big mall with lots of shopping and eating options close by. The rooms are really big with separate bedroom and living/study area with kitchenette.

Hotel is old, rooms were old. Gym is completely outdated - based on residential exercise equipment, in which only 2 out of 4 machines worked. Overall I would never stay here again.

Good hotel for stop over It is really for business users but has REALLY big comfortable rooms and free parking with easy access to the Madrid underground. Breakfast is ok but eat out at night if you can.

The hotel was easy to get to and visible from the highway. The staff was welcoming. The room was wonderful. It was large, the bed was very comfortable, everything about the hotel and its team was first class.

very disappointing hotel. This is the most expensive hotel in the area, so one would expect for the highest price, a good service, it is not the case: 1) The AC did not work, even early October it was 31c in Madrid, and the room would get very hot even during the night. 2) there is no free wifi, hotels.com says free wifi, but in fact the wifi is provided by the company kubi (same than the airport), the free wifi is so slow that my outlook would not load emails and timeout, same timeout with united.com website...I finally paid 15euros and got the paid wifi that works fine, this is false advertisement, free wifi should work for basic web browsing... VERY disappointed, colleagues stayed a holidayinn and Dumas nearby, WiFi was realy free and hotel was half the price. Would not recommend this hotel, it says luxury, but it is old luxury , there is a shopping center next to it, but nobody there, the area is very empty. the best option is another more recent and cheaper hotel nearby, or stay in madrid. there is a metro station "ronda de la comunicaiones" near buy, if you stay in madrid downtown on the same line 10, it only takes 20 minutes and 2 euros to come to this location, much better choice than this hotel.

Really nice hotel close to nearby shopping

Hotel room accommodations were luxuriously large and the service was really nice. The food in the restaurant -- dinner and breakfast were not very good but the location close to my client meetings was perfect and because of that I would stay here again.

Good hotel if you are visiting Telefonica

If you are visiting the Telefonica HQ on business this is the hotel for you. Ten minutes walk and you are there in Telefonica. The hotel itself is OK. The rooms are huge (mine included a lounge, separate bedroom, and a very large bathroom). I've stayed there in the summer and thankfully the A/C works, which is essential in 40C or more heat! My bed squeaked a lot, and the shower was a bit old fashioned for a hotel in this price range. The free internet is unusable, it's far too slow. When will hotels realize that Internet is not an option? It should always be included. Breakfast is never included in Expedia rates, and the walk-in rate is very pricey, so I just grab a coffee and a croissant in the Telefonica cafe. The attached restaurant, L'Albuffera, is very good, but expensive (OK if you are on expenses). The restaurant opens from 8.30pm - which is quite late for UK or US visitors, but positively early for Madrid! Cheaper eating options are available in the mall down the street. The hotel is a 30 Euro cab ride from the airport, but it is also close to a Metro station (not on the same line as the airport). Beware that Madrid Metro is notorious for pick-pockets, but otherwise it is a modern and comfortable metro system that is easy enough to find your way around.
