A Hotel that lost its shine

Pros: Location
Cons: Definately not a 4* Hotel. Maximum 2 star!
This Hotel used to be run by NH Group that also runs the NH Marbella, which wee stayed on the first half of the trip. The room condition was horrible. The floors are worn out, there was malt growing on the ceiling of the bathroom, light brown wood turned into black in areas which also could be an indication for malt. I took fotos and happy to share. For a double room we only got two big towels which is not enough. The only garbage in the entire room was at the sink. None in the bedroom / living room area. So you just end up throwinf everything on the floor.

Costa del Sol

Pros: Very pleasant setting and nice quiet and relaxing environment.
Cons: Maintain rooms better (e.g. fix broken door & furniture handles, ensure shower heads & air conditioning working properly). Don't charge for parking.
Location: Lovely setting with lots of nice hotels in the area. Beach a short walk away.
Nice Saudi owned hotel on the edge of Marbella. Split over three blocks with ample car parking (which is charged for extra) and very quiet and pleasant setting. It's a halal friendly hotel so no alcohol and food is halal. Pretty good breakfast buffet but not a huge variation from day to day. Some limited hot food and chef will cook omelettes to order. They started doing a dinner buffet for £25 per head (excluding drinks) whilst we were there. Rooms a little bit tired with various repairs needed (more of a niggle than a big problem). Beach is less than a five minute walk from the hotel. A very nice mosque next to the hotel. Some supermarkets a short drive away but if walking would probably take twenty minutes.

Meine Familie und ich finden das Hotel einzigartig. Es ist sehr modern. Das ganze Hotel wurde soweit ich weiss vor 2 Jahren renoviert. Das, was mir sehr gefallen hat war das Frühstück. Es gab sehr viele verschiedene Sachen, was bei anderen Hotels nicht der Fall ist. Zudem ist es alkoholfrei, was meiner Meinung einfach grandios ist. Ich empfehle es sehr.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr git, in 5min ist man zu Fuss am Strand. Das Pool ist leider einbisschen klein, eher geeignet für Familien. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit, Frühstückbuffet empfehlenswert, die Hotelzimmer brauchen langsam eine Renovation. Stadt Marbella ist mit dem Auto in 7-8min zu erreichen und traumhaft schön. Gute Restaurants am Hafen, sowie in der Altstadt.

Hotelli yllätti

Missään ei kerrota, että hotelli on täysin alkoholiton. Kyllä lomalla haluaa nauttia ruuan viinin kera, mutta täällä se oli mahdotonta, kun ei edes hotellissa saa myydä alkoholia. Käskettiin mennä hakemaan marketista viinit ruuan kanssa, ei kovin miellyttävää.
