Really nice spot. Low key. Went end of January 2025. Weather was beautiful, steady 85 degrees. Staff very helpful with calling car service for anywhere you want to go. Exchange of currency at front desk. Natasha was AMAZING, we loved her. A bit laid back on the island, I’m from New York so I always rush rush rush. Drink the tap water, it’s better than the bottled water there! Super hot showers! The only downfall is the random people walking up to you at night if you’re hanging out on beach chairs. They do have security around the clock walking around. Will rate 5/5 even with this issue—you just can’t be stupid. Not far from the st Lawrence gap. About 40 minutes from Carlisle bay (must go here on your trip)

The property was lovely and our room was great however it was a bit out of the way/secluded and you had to walk a fair distance along a road that had some dark areas to get to a ZR bus stop. Also the ocean was quite choppy in front of the property. We love to swim in the ocean but needed to walk up to Sandals area to swim as they have a breakwater. Still wasn’t totally calm there either.

5th stay at Bougainvillea

We love this property. It’s clean, comfortable, kind and Bajan owned and staffed. We are not all inclusive people as we like to surf and tour the island. Bougainvillea is a great home base and we recommend it to couples or families. See you next year!

The beach was excellent. There were always enough chairs and umbrellas even though we were there during high season (Dec26-Jan1st). The main improvement they could make is to increase the number of cooks or cooking infrastructure. At lunch, we had to wait 1.75 hours for food after ordering. Getting food during the day is never under a 30 - 45 minute wait. The staff are great and they have adequate servers, they just need to speed up the delivery. The rooms are great, the views are excellent, the staff is wonderful, they have self service laundry as well. I would recommend this hotel.

The staff at Bourganvillea was fabulous! They were welcoming and accommodating, very friendly and good to be around! They made the beach feel so fun, giving my kids Boogie Boards, and helping us with umbrellas and beach chairs. They made us feel at home. The property was ok, but we spent so little time in the room. What made our day is that you walked out of the rooms and less than 100 steps away, you are on the beach! The icing on the cake is that on Christmas Day we got to meet Santa by the pool and he had presents for my 7 year old and 13 year old daughters! Man that was memorable! These are the times that we can never forget! I would definitely revisit Bourganvillea!

Hotel well maintained, didn’t like the entrance to the room being around the side of the hotel on the edge of the property, the path leading there wasn’t well lit and a bit slippery after the rain in the dark. Most of the staff were helpful and friendly, excellent service from the bell boy.

The resort is located on one of Barbados' great beaches. They allow you to set up chairs where you want them to be and the staff will put up an umbrella at your chosen spot. Very nice and clean resort. Two good restaurants to choose from and very friendly staff.
