My room had a noisy air conditioner. When the compressor came on to maintain the temperature, a loud rattle could be heard coming from the unit. I had to squash a coke can and pry it between the air conditioner and the door closer to stop the noise.

Nice, friendly staff. Nice breakfast. The rooms are tiny however. The first room I was given barely fit the bed that was in it and had no windows apart from the glass in the door itself. Felt very claustrophobic. After asking for a room with an external window I was kindly given a slightly larger room with a window which was adequate. The hotel doesn't deserve the 8/10 rating it had on other websites - please beware the pictures shown don't give an accurate representation of the rooms.

This place isn't fancy or modern but it has comfortable beds, good water pressure, friendly staff, good service, great location with access to trams and trains. If you're in Melbourne to do things and be out and you need a place to crash in the evening, its perfect. If you need perfect facilities and plan to spend time in, look elsewhere

Amazing value, very happy with the stay. I'll be back. Fllors are a bit thin, I heard the people above stomping. The carped was faded and stained but it just looked worn not dirty. I can live with this over paying three times this for a room with new carpet.

Nice clean renovated room. Stayed here for 4 nights during the 2025 F1 Grand Prix. Was by far the cheapest accommodation at $400 per night.

Dirty glass and floor shower 1st room, 2nd room no window and still dirty and 3rd which was an upgrade had a used condom in the bin. Which showed the lack of cleanliness in the hotel. Poor standards.
