LOVED the absolute quietness of the place, even with all that was going on with basketball teams and their fans (including me), airline staff, etc. Once I closed my room door it was complete quiet. The overall vibe of the hotel is wonderful. It smells good, the hallways are wide with high ceilings, and although there were tons if folks here I never had to wait long for an elevator. The staff was good and friendly. There were a couple of "land of nit quite right"

Avoid the 'Historical Part' of the Hotel

I paid for an upgrade to a luxury suite in the 'historical part'. However, the 'historical part ' of the hotel had paper thin walls. My room was directly above the lobby. Not only it had a noisy lobby bar, it also keep the music on in the lobby throughout the night. I got to hear all night. I had stayed in the newer part in a trip last year. The room was excellent. The restaurant was crowded the first night I got there. The receptionist said I could easily get a table when I ask him to make a reservation at checkin. It wasn't the case. The only seat I could get was at end of the bar by a trash can. Downtown Milwarkee is not safe to walk after dark. So, there was really no other dining option if you arrive late.

we ALWAYS stay at the pfister when we’re in MKE! definitely the nicest hotel around. staff was very friendly and helpful, there is zero tude here! we actually got upgraded to a suite at no extra charge..so my bday was already starting out good :) i love everything about this property, even the haunted history of it!!
