The staff that helped me during my stay were quite unfriendly. The man at the front desk during check in seemed annoyed to have to help me and treated me like he was above me. I paid extra when purchasing the room for a food/beverage credit during my stay and the hotel refused to honor that. They did honor it after I made several communications with Expedia and trips to the perturbed man at the front desk. He gave me a “courtesy” coupon for 20% off my meal (even though I already had paid for it). So I saved less than half of what I spent for the perk. When he gave it to me he told me just how much he hated these third party booking sites (like Expedia). I didn’t appreciate being treated like a second hand guest or like I was looking for a handout when all I was asking for was what I paid for. Expedia has also decided not to honor or refund me for the credit that was sold to me.
I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel because the staff in the morning were just as unfriendly and would not engage acknowledge me. I guess if you want good service here you had better make sure you show up in a business suit.
