They are renovating the lobby until January 2026, so there is a tiny mess related to that work, but overall, it is a very pleasant place to stay. happy Hour in the Skyview Lounge on the 17 th floor overlooking Mobile Bay adds to the fun.

Our stay was ok. It is an old hotel, but they are in the process of renovating their lobby. The renovations did not bother us at any time. It was just an average hotel - nothing fancy or extra. The only thing that really bothered me was the smell on our floor. I could not place what it was, but it was not pleasant. I don’t know if it was just the smell of an older hotel/carpet or maybe mildew. I don’t know, but it was not good. Overall the stay was ok, but I wouldn’t stay there again if I was in the area.
