It was cool. Staff very friendly. Rooms and building can be updated but was still decent to stay. Staff could have made it known that we had access to other RIU resorts because Riu Montego had better entertainment. We were not able to book dinner reservations at neither restaurant. We had to eat at the buffet each night. We tried to book the the first night and everything was booked. Jerk chicken in the grill was good!!!

The resort was lovely and beautiful! The food is Great!!!! (I only ate at the buffet). The staff were great. The room was great. I tip $2-5 for room service, getting more water/ drink for my room, waiters. Some people think that’s including and it’s not. In some customs they don’t (I think it’s rude to not tip). All I ask is to refill my water when it’s empty. One breakfast, a waiter, keep walking by my table. Didn’t refill my water for 15mins, so I got up and refilled my own drink. So I didn’t tip. Beach was good. No beach umbrellas so bring a hat. Wear swim shoes bc the ocean feels slimy. Over all I would definitely staff here again!!

They were not accommodating when issues occurred with my flight and I losts a day and wanted to purchase an additional day, not to mention when I arrived I still had to wait for the room as if I didn’t pay for the day prior and it should have been ready. The staff was nice and the entertainment was fun but for the price of a night they should have leasts had my room ready once I got there after missing a day or leasts price adjusted an additional day

I had a good stay, but, check in was delayed and un organized. We took out own bags. We only ate at the buffet because the restaurants were always booked. There was no real night life at Reggae, you have to go to another resort.and no top shelf liquor.and the pools close too early, I believe it closed at 6.however, the buffet was good.

Great hospitality! Great Resort! Great Authentic Jamaican Food! Great Spa! Great room & location!! My only downside was that the abundant amount seaweed needed to be removed from the beach 😞😞 I only wanted to enjoy the beach and it was very difficult with seaweed in over 90% of the water. I asked the seamen and they stated that the hotel needed to clean it out. Not sure why that hadn’t happened by April 2025. This hampered my visit and my expectation of being in the water. 😞😞

My stay at RIU Reggae was amazing! From the moment we arrived, the customer service was top-notch, everyone was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The entire property was spotless, including the buffet area and our room. One of the best parts was the easy access to the beach right on the property, just steps away from the water. It made the stay even more relaxing. I highly recommend RIU Reggae to anyone looking for a clean, beautiful, and well run place to stay in Jamaica. I’d definitely go back!
