"So we happened to visit Paris during their hottest heatwave. The hotel has ac but it definitely can’t keep up with the heat. Its ductwork ac so an in room one on the wall probably would have worked better. It was warm if you’re trying to pack but we got home each night, took a cold shower, and once we relaxed it was manageable. Overnight we would use the blanket for our feet or legs. There’s no air in the bathroom so we kept that door closed. Shower door leaked water instead of keeping it in. So we just kept the towel bunched up there and hung it in the shower overnight. Shower pressure was great. Small room but of course that’s to be expected in Paris. We weren’t uncomfortable with the two of us and one big checked backpack, one smaller carry on backpack, and 2 personal items. FREE mini bar. You get to eat and drink everything in the fridge once and then it’s charged if you refill it. We had taken a 5 hour train so it was the perfect t arrival perk. Black out curtains and an insanely comfy bed. They offered breakfast for a fee but we just went out and tried different restaurants. Down the street from both a metro stop and a bike parking location for the e-bikes. It wasn’t a bad place to stay at all it was just hotter than we would have liked…. But all of Paris was."
