We have stayed here a several times over the last year and truly love this place. You can't beat the location, and the staff there are absolutely lovely, engaging and so helpful. Jack (bellhop/valet) was a delight and gave wonderful insights into places to visit and see during our stay. We can't wait to be back.

Hotel Nelligan

Hotel is in a great location. Room nice but a king bedded room was confirmed and we got two beds which were very small for two people to sleep in one bed but we managed. Parking price was also confusing. Sign said $20 when we checked out this morning it was $48. Would we stay there again. Absolutely. Just those two items were disappointing. Otherwise love Old Montreal and the hotel. Staff excellent!

Hotel was very nice, staff was excellent, room was very nice. The only complaint I have was our room was on the side of the alley with all the garbage cans and there was a lot of noise from 6 AM to 9 AM in the morning when they were emptying all the garbage cans.

The room itself was very nice with lots of personal touches and amenities. It had a nice jacuzzi tub, comfortable bed, fireplace, stocked minibar (needed more Coke Zero however), and was very clean. The staff was very polite, welcoming, and attentive. The downside was that our room seemed to be just below the terrace restaurant and it was very loud on the Thursday night of our stay. Very loud, until 3 am. There was also some sort of loud construction type vibration noise at 11 pm as well. Our room on our previous stay was peaceful, on the second floor instead of the fourth. There was some noise from construction on the road in front of the hotel early on the week day morning but other than that it was quiet.

Spacious and well appointed rooms with courteous and attentive staff. Breakfast was excellent with Greek inspired twists on traditional breakfast dishes. Loved the smoked sausage. Short walks to all points of interest, shops and restaurants in old Montreal. Highly recommend!

I loved the proximity of the hotel to old Montreal - easy walking, great restaurants and bars nearby! The hotel has a fantastic rooftop bar and restaurant - just be sure to reserve early!

We have stayed at the hotel nelligan several times, and it is a wonderful hotel with terrific staff. Hélene saw to it that our recent wedding anniversary weekend there was very special. The staff left us a lovely card along with a bottle of champagne and treats. The hotel is beautiful, the restaurants at the hotel are all top notch, and the staff is wonderful. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone looking to travel to Montréal
