Charming building and lovely staff. We stayed in a room with a king bed and sofa bed, and we had lots of space for a family of four - and it had a great little kitchen and such tall ceilings! Breakfast was really nice - it was simple but had lots of options and something for everyone - relaxing way to start the day.

We have stayed at this hotel several times before and have never been disappointed. The work out room is well equipped. The pool is indoors! The shower is as hot as you would ever consider using. The location is right in the middle of everything. Take it from a couple of fussy old Long Islanders, Square Phillips Hotel deserves 6 stars on the scale from 1 to 5!

In the heart of Montréal, next to the Eaton mall and 15 min walk to Bell Center. Parking fee was reasonable with unlimited exit/entry. Had the basic room which is huge with refrigerator and cooking facility. Stayed late January when the price is well off peak.
