Nice hotel next to entrance to the excavations

Pros: Location, staff, cleanliness and comfort.
Cons: The water in the shower could have been a little warmer, but this is a very minor thing.
Location: Next to the entrance to Pompeii, some tourist shops and eateries near by, and also 5 minutes walk from a train station.
This is a pleasant oasis in a very busy town. There are lovely shaded gardens, and the rooms are clean, with pleasant public areas. There are snacks available for guests in the reception area, and the staff are all very helpful and courteous. The general handyman helped us to find a Premier League football match, the waitress at breakfast had an omelette made especially for us, the staff at reception found train times for our days out - the service could not have been better.

Really lovely hotel - and great location

Pros: The location - convenient for town and the ruins, the reception and room service and the luxurious bedrooms.
Cons: Better coordination of the bar and the restaurant - it was all a bit hit-and-miss.
Location: Perfect location for the town and the ruins. And lots of bars, cafes and restaurants nearby.
Despite being ideal for town and the ruins (they're literally across the road), the hotel is wonderfully quiet because it's set back from the street with well-tended gardens around it. The rooms are exceptionally clean and bright - as good as they look in the online photos - and the staff are pleasant and helpful. The free parking across the road was particularly appreciated. Breakfast was adequate but slightly predictible and repetitive; and we tried dinner once. Although a special menu had been advertised for the evening, it seemed to have disappeared by the time we sat down for dinner. And once the starter arrived, it was so large that we had to cancel what we'd ordered for the main course. The bar in the foyer was a mystery: there never seemed to be anyone to staff it and, although there were canapes left out for guests, there was no attempt to welcome them to partake. To be honest, it felt as though all the hotel's energy was being applied to the accommodation, rather than drinks and food. Fortunately, as far as the accommodation was concerned, they succeeded 100%. It was a delightful stay; but we were grateful there was a choice of bars, cafes and restaurants nearby.

A good base for Pompeii ruins

The Hotel was a pleasing sight after a long journey because of a 2 1/2 hour flight delay. Arrived a 21.15hrs - easy booking in and helpful front desk and welcome nibbles in reception. room on the 1st floor access by lift or stairs. Room comfortable - pleasantly decorated - but I had been informed all rooms are being re-decorated. My only grumble, no tea/coffee making facilities. there is a mini bar (to paid for if used). Apart from that we would stay there again. Thank you for the pleasant stay

short break in Pompei

We spent 4 nights in Pompei and had a great time. The hotel was very close to all of the stations, the back entrance to Pompei and the main piazza. Room was fine, clean and a good size. Hotel was clean and the grounds all lit up during the evening. The staff were great and were always happy to help out with directions and ideas. Breakfast was OK - if you are looking for a full english forget it but there were scrambled eggs, frankfurter sausages, bread, cheese, ham, cereals, plus a variety of cakes and croissants. Plenty of tea and coffee and fresh orange juice.

Parking situation ideally solved. Wonderful garden with a variety of citrus plants. Perfectly situated to visit the excavations of Pompei.
