Continues to have an amazing ambiance and outstanding staff in every area. The view of sunrise over gateway of India is magical. The whole pool area is gorgeous, with such a relaxed atmosphere even as it runs so efficiently. The charm of the Taj still stands out above other luxury hotels in Mumbai.

Stayed for two nights and the staff were amazing from the start to the end. We were pleasantly greeted and welcomed the moment our transportation dropped us off, to being looked after at the front desk on arrival. We arrived in the morning and were accommodated earlier than expected. We had a sea view room that looked over the gateway of India. Our housekeeper cleaned the room spotlessly ensuring we had everything we needed. We ate in Shamiana restaurant and the food and service were also good. Will certainly stay here again.
