This was one of our favorite places to stay during our 2 weeks in Europe. Big rooms, clean, comfortable beds, updated, and friendly staff. Wish we would have stayed for more than 1 night. Highly recommend and would gladly stay again.

Very pleasant stay. Nicely refurbished room. Comfortable. About 15 minutes walk to the local train station with under and over ground services to the city centre. We ate in the hotel restaurant which was good and the waiter was attentive.

The property itself seems newly renovated, so is lovely. Very clean and very nice. The rooms are HUGE! however.. there is NO air conditioning, it got very very warm, and the road outside is very close and it was very loud. So, this being said, that means whilst the hotel is lovely, a good night sleep isn’t guaranteed unless you don’t mind noise or heat. The second bed wasn’t made up, and they brought sheets to do this ourselves. Shower was small. These were the main reason I had to mark down.

A nice place, but could use more helpful staffing

This is a very nice B&B-type hotel on the outskirts of Munich, but on the main train line (S1 & U2, about 10 blocks away). It is quiet and the rooms are nice. The rooms vary quite widely in size and comfort. My big gripes here are twofold: 1 - it would have been nice to have a small fridge in the room, and more importantly, 2 - the staff was not very accommodating/friendly. I had to check out very early and check back in very late. If it wasn't for my helper, I couldn't have done either as there was NO ONE on staff there to help at those hours.

Lousy service

Stay away from this hotel. Their "customer service" is lousy, grading with scale 4-10 would be 0-. The hotel says on their webpage and Hotels.com that reception is open until 22:00. We arrived before 21:00, and the door was locked, and nobody was there. The automated check-in outside didn't recognise our reservation. Luckily, there was still someone working at a restaurant, and we could get in and get our room. But the room smelled strongly that it had been smoked there. We went back to the restaurant to demand a different room. They said that it is impossible that the room smells cigarettes since it is a non-smoking room. After some argument, they called the receptionist, who promised he would be there in 10 minutes to take care of this issue. After 15 minutes nothing and I had to ask again. They called him again and now he said he will be there in 20 minutes. It took him 40 minutes to arrive, so we ended up waiting more than an hour with a tired small child for a room that was acceptable. I won't stay in this place ever again.

Zimmer schön, das Bad war unnötig verwinkelt. Das Frühstück war gut, leider gibt's nur Thermoskannenkaffee und Jour Gebäck. Der Rest war frisch und sehr gut. Leider waren bei mir im Zimmer auf der Matratze als auch in der Dusche lange, schwarze Haare vom Vormieter oder der Reinigungskraft. Ich habe es beim Check Out zwar erwähnt, die Antwort darauf war: "haben sie ein Foto davon " Für mich daher nicht weiterzuempfehlen.

Ich kam erst kurz vor 24 Uhr an, mein digitales Einchecken hat leider nicht funktioniert. Es kam aber innerhalb von wenigen Minuten jemand vom Hotel, der mir half. Am meisten hat mich das Zimmer und das Bad überrascht. beides war wirklich so schön, wie beschrieben und wie auf den Bildern abgebildet.
