La chambre était parfaite rien à dire sur la propreté mais les lieux communs comme le bar, la partie restaurant étaient vraiment très sales (la propreté du sol était à la limite du dégoût) L’hôtel manque de cachet on ne ressent pas l’envie de rester le soir pour y boire un verre après une longue journée de visite L’hôtel n’est pas à la hauteur de son tarif exorbitant! Je le déconseille fortement et nous ne sommes pas des gens difficiles ....

Das Hotel liegt wunderschön am Myvatn-See und besticht durch eine tolle Bauweise. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und haben teilweise (unseres) einen kleinen Balkon. Im 3. Stock ist eine schöne Textilsauna mit Blick über den See. Das Frühstücksbüffet war sehr umfassend. Die Säuberung der Zimmer und Nachfüllung von Tee und Kaffee auf dem Zimmer fand nicht oder nur unzureichend statt. Nach der 1. Nacht war Strom- und Wasserausfall. Gerade im Toilettenbereich nicht zumutbar. Der Parkplatz ist zu klein - die Autos standen im Geröll und auf den Busparkplätzen. Am ersten Abend war ein Essen im Restaurant wegen Überfüllung durch das Hotel unmöglich. Im Saunabereich waren keine Handtücher bereitgelegt und in der dazugehörigen Dusche keine Seife.

Nous avons ADORÉ cet établissement. Tout était parfait! La vue sur le lac est splendide! Les repas étaient excellents et il y avait un énorme choix pour le petit-déjeuner. Nous serions volontiers restés plus longtemps!

Brand new hotel

Pros: Realy huge hotel room it is in contradiction to the Fosshotel in Vatnjakull with prisoner rooms
Cons: no
Location: no
Good stay, but during the breakfast time a few busses with busy people crossing the buffet.
