I forgot my ear plugs

The three floors above our room were under remodeling that started at 7:54am. Why on earth would they place guests in these rooms. I complained and they said they were sorry 5 times Guess I will need to find a better hotel on my next visit to london.

Excellent Quality, but Customer Service Needs Work

The hotel’s location, amenities, cleanliness, and ambiance were truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the attention to detail in the decor, lobby looked very cosy and well-maintained, and the convenient access to the Queen Elizabeth II conference centre. Everything felt top-notch, and I was genuinely excited about my stay. The room was serviced daily and kept very clean, with complimentary supplies replenished regularly, which I really appreciated. However, I did face a delay at check-in when I was asked for a passport, despite being a UK resident. I experienced a delay during check-in due to being asked for a passport, despite being a UK resident. Interestingly, I later observed another guest checking in seamlessly with just a bank card. On my third night, I encountered another issue when my room key was disabled, despite having paid in full for my stay. Unfortunately, I found myself once again at the reception desk, where I was passed over in the queue for another customer. This was quite unpleasant, as I had to wait for almost 20 minutes just to have my key reactivated. I believe that service should be consistent and universal for ALL guests irrespective of race, gender or class!

Had a lovely stay at St James Ct. The property is in a great location near Buckingham Palace, metro, St James Park. Rooms were great and showers were excellent. the courtyard is very cute. Staff is very friendly and did a great job at check in. Overall it was a great experience.

Amazing place to stay

Amazing hotel, staff were polite and attentive throughout. Room was perfect, breakfast filling and plentiful and spa was exactly what was required. Really appreciated the special efforts to make the stay even better, as was my wife’s 50th and the flowers, birthday card and upgrade were greatly received and enjoyed.

The property itself is beautiful, the rooms vary, some are newly renovated and done well, others are awaiting renovation therefore outdated. The issue I faced was with service, this is a Taj hotel and an Expedia VIP property, the service did not live up to this standard. Twice maintenance came to our room, unannounced, once after 10p and the other at 8a. They didn't call in advance, they simply banged on our door, which while on vacation, isn't great. There was an issue with the sink that they had to fix, why they didn't call in advance or give us a room that didn't have plumbing issues is unexplained. In addition, the room didn't have soap, shower gel or tissues. We called hospitality, who brought all three separately..and the next day after housekeeping, they didn't replace what was used. I spoke with the property manager, who couldn't have been less interested in understanding our frustration, and after having explained our experience, simply said sorry, enjoy your stay. A VERY POOR SERVICE EXPERIENCE...especially for a Taj and even more so for an Expedia VIP property. For the price point and while on vacation, I would recommend reconsidering this property, if you like good service.

Great location for sightseeing, restaurants, shops, underground close by. Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely building. Executive suite was lovely and big and clean but really needs an upgrade of windows and furniture , very worn.
