An unspoilt art deco hotel. The room was a good size, bathroom clean with amenities for making hot drinks and a fridge. The only issue I had was that the bed was very firm which for me was uncomfortable. Apart from this everything was fine.

Rooms are very well decorated however they are quite small. Very comfortable and the courtyard is a great spot to just chill looking out to sea. Adjacent pubs and restaurants were good value particularly the K Kitchen bar and restaurant was excellent.

Had a pleasant one night stay here. The room was small but charming and comfortable, shower was excellent, and bed was just right. We stayed on the 1st floor and had access to the roof terrace which was an unexpected bonus. We could not hear either the bar or restaurant below.

Staff were super helpful and friendly. Room was very comfortable and the hotel despite its age was in very good condition, so it was a great place to experience the art deco nature of Napier. Restaurant downstairs was great and shopping and cafes in walking distance. Will stay again!!

The Art Deco Masonic Hotel was beautiful, and the staff were quite helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed the style and historic feeling while staying there. The room was extremely clean as well - definitely better than other hotels we've stayed in recently. Its location is ideal for walking anywhere in Napier, and the hotel parking situation was pretty convenient (2-3 min walk a couple blocks over). You'll have no problem getting to restaurants, art galleries, the National Aquarium, the Faraday Museum, and the oceanfront from here. We would stay here again in the future.
