Location was good. Pool was nice. We booked two rooms next to each other and when we arrived they weren’t. They then put us on 4th floor instead of the 2nd. Took forever to get to our room due to 1 elevator. Our room smelled like sewer and mildew. Staff was slow and tried to over charge us for guest pass. It took over an half hour to check in even though we pre registered.

Personnel are the most wonderful people. Kind, caring, helpful and personality is superb. Hotel is clean. I would like to give a shout out especially to Tammica in house keeping and Derrens who does many different jobs at the hotel.

Check in was a disaster. Only had one front desk agent (who was going above and beyond). Other staff were “busy” and did not offer assistance to the 5+ parties that were waiting in line. It took over 1/2 hour to check in. Service at the bar was the same, one man inefficiently working. Took 15 minutes to get a drink. Was never checked on or offered anything else.

Definitely worth it. Property is somewhat outdated, but rooms are clean and big enough. Good customer service and free basic and decent tasting breakfast. Ideal location and free tickets to aquaventure (entrance to the resorts just 5 min walk).

I’ve learned the hard way that booking through Expedia doesn’t always guarantee you the room you want. We requested a king room but ended up with two doubles. This wasn’t the hotel’s fault—it seems more an issue with Expedia not properly holding the reservation. That said, the hotel staff were absolutely amazing—friendly, kind, and attentive. Anything we needed, they took care of promptly. They even handled a tricky situation with another guest who seemed to forget they were sharing a space with others, which was impressive and showed great professionalism. One of the best perks is the included access to the Atlantis water park — my son and husband had an absolute blast there. It was definitely a highlight of our trip. The food at the hotel restaurant was fine—nothing special, but the service was good. Just be prepared to pay resort prices for average food and drinks, which were definitely on the expensive side. The hotel building itself could use some upkeep. There were strange smells in some areas and visible wear and tear throughout. However, the beds were comfortable enough, and the showers worked well, so the basics were covered. Comfort Suites offers a more affordable room option compared to other nearby resorts. If you’re okay with getting what you pay for, just be prepared so you’re not disappointed. I am not happy with this hotel and their telephone customer service but upon checking in, the young lady at the desk was very professional and friendly. I lost $355 booking this hotel and that is the last they will see of my money or my presence. They were unwilling to work with me as a customer and after paying for my room, they would rather take my money, and provide no service than to adjust my booking to accommodate me. Hope you needed that extra $355 to stay afloat. Good riddance
