The front desk upgraded our room since we were celebrating our anniversary. There was not much entertainment, no activities on the beach. No paddle boards, no kayaks for the guests to use. There was no airport shuttle. Had to take a taxi every where. Every experience. The coffee bar didn’t open until 10am. Not convenient for the guests. We stayed at RIU resorts before and have never been disappointed as we were with this resort.

Had a good time here! Plenty of activities for everyone. We enjoyed the group activities and games daily. We stayed here for about one week. Great food, great drinks and friendly staff. We used the gym, the pool, the beach, dinner reservations, and even got a massage. The staff are bilingual and very friendly. We will definitely be back! The place is well kept and cleaned regularly. We felt safe and had a great time!

The staff was excellent, very inviting and attentive. The external parts of the property was very clean. However, work needs to be done on rooms. Rooms were clean, but the ventilation is poor.

We recently stayed at the RIU Bahamas to celebrate my birthday. The beach view was absolutely beautiful, and the food was delicious throughout our stay. The staff were pleasant and accommodating, which made the experience enjoyable. Unfortunately, there were bedbugs in our room that bit my friend, which was very upsetting. Additionally, the rooms could definitely use some updating. Overall, while we appreciated the great service and amazing beach views, the condition of the room was disappointing and needs improvement.

Beautiful beach. Can’t get reservations at restaurants - constantly booked and it is slow season, the view out my balcony looked like a crack house - trash, old paint cans, staff walking on the roof, etc. , the staff in the spa was miserable - couldn’t get me and my wife a time together. The maids were very nice!!

Great Hotel in Bahamas

The property is in a nice location and has a private beach. If your looking for the party seen this hotel is not it. Everything except the bar closes before 10 pm. The pool closes at about 7 pm (when the sun is still up). It is difficult to get reservations for specialty dining. The buffet was the highlight of the trip.

Rooms need upgrades . If you like damp floors all the time, damp sheets, drawers broken then Riu is your place. Staff excellent, food very good in the Atlantic but the special restaurants forget it! Beach wonderful.
