The set up of room and authentic food some of the staff were real polite.. what I don’t like is making reservations for the restaurants was hard and when you do get a reservation the food not enjoyable example the steak house meat salty, house keeping forget to clean my room for 2 days

This was my second visit in four months and this time I was on a girls trip. We are giving a BIg SHOUT Out to Chantae, the Expedia representative.she made our visit unforgettable. I told her it was my pre birthday celebration and she went out of her way to make it eventful. First, upon approaching the door, there was a birthday banner on the door. Then entering the room, we were greeted with the following: balloons floating all around the room, rose petals on the bed, along with a birthday card, the tub was filled with bubbles and more balloons and a bottle of wine. And that was not all, the next day we treated to dinner at the Zen restaurant courtesy of Ms. Chantae. In addition, she also make sure we were taken care of by supplying us with bottle water on the beach. Thank you Chantae for making our stay so memorable. Futhermore, Chantes' attentiveness overshadowed the mediocre food served in buffer restaurant. The chef and upper management was changed from our last visit which makes for a very unhappy staff. But we were not trouble because Chantae was there for us. THANKS CHANTAE. Wanted to share photos, but the photo section is not allowing me)

Had an excellent stay! The Two butlers assigned to the rooms (Oshain & Darron were phenomenal. They made the stay smooth and comfortable. There were many other excellent staff members to help facilitate our needs; staff members such as Amber at the martini bar, Rochelle at the buffett, Britney, and many more! The food for the most part was pretty good. There were good days and there were bad days. Overall there was more good than bad, as the selections was vast. The Japanese restaurant was excellent but I can't say the same for the stake house. The hydrotherapy at the spa was a big plus in my book, so treat your self to at least that at the spa. Overall it was just a wonderful time all around! Excellent staff! excellent beaches! What more can one ask for?

I had high expectations for the Royalton Negril, especially given its reputation and premium pricing, but our one-night stay was anything but relaxing. It was meant to be the grand finale of a great vacation, yet it turned out to be the most stressful part of the trip. Check-in was a nightmare. We arrived just before 1 PM and spent over 45 minutes waiting at the front desk. Though we were told both rooms would be ready by 3 PM, we didn’t get access to our second room until after 6 PM—over three hours late. Even worse, the delay was blamed on missing pillowcases and then "lost paperwork," which forced us to redo the check in paperwork, dragging the process out even longer. We ended up missing a planned excursion because of the delays. The condition of the rooms was shocking. Rooms had a foul odor in the bathroom, like raw sewage, and the mini-fridge smelled of mold. The sink was clogged, and water was leaking from a light fixture above, posing a clear safety hazard. Cups were dirty, and the bedding had stains and hair on it—totally unacceptable at any hotel, let alone a resort at this price point. To top it off, during checkout we were told—again—that our room records were missing. We had to fill out paperwork for a third time, making us late for our shuttle to the airport. In short, the Royalton Negril failed at the basics: cleanliness, organization, and guest service. This was the most disorganized hotel experience I’ve had in yea

My family just got back from a week at the Royalton Negril. We chose to do the Diamond club and think it’s well worth the extra money. Our check in process was so smooth. Huge shout outs to our butlers, Daron and Shaneeka! They both checked in with us multiple times a day and made sure we had everything we needed. This resort is beautiful! The water and beach is something I will never forget. We snorkeled every day right off of the beach and saw starfish, stingrays, conchs and tons of fish! Our room was nice with a beautiful view. The upstairs of the resort where check in is has the best view in the whole resort. You can immediately tell they try to keep up with the facilities. The coffee shop is a great place to get a latte/coffee and a snack. My only complaint is that it’s so dang hot in there…..and everywhere to be honest. Even the restaurants at night were hot. That leads me to the food…the restaurants were not good. I do not know if the food is just so different than what we are used to, but we really weren’t impressed. My son did have a wonderful piece of salmon at Hunters, but the steak wasn’t good. The wait staff was so friendly though and a big shout out to our chef at Zen. She was awesome! The buffet food was really good so we went there a lot. Had some really sweet waitstaff and the pastry chef there was so awesome! Dips pool bar was horrible!! From staff to quality of drinks. Not good. Drinks at the diamond club bars/martini bar were so much better!

Anything that was a problem the staff especially Chantae was super helpful and efficiently resolved our issue. She also facilitated our transportation with Greg. He was most polite, courteous and made us feel super safe and secure. I will definitely recommend them to others and seek their services for my next trip out to Negril.

Staff was Amazing! Up on arrival, we checked into our room, as soon as we opened the door it smelled like mold. I quickly returned to the front desk to advise them of the issue. The front desk receptionist stated that is was nothing that could be done and they did not have any other rooms that I could be moved to, I requested to speak with a manager. The manager apologized for the the issue and worked to get another room, she explained that it would take a minute. I told her that I would grab some food and come back. She came to the restaurant to let me know that she locate a up-graded room, she was very apologetic. I went to my new room, it smelled like mold as well, not as bad as the first one. For the duration of the trip we tried as much as possible to stay out of room, since my spouse was waking up headaches.
