Perfect stay.

Brand new and beautifully built hotel just outside Temple Bar. Perfect location to walk around Dublin. Gorgeous bar on the ground floor. Go for the optional breakfast.

Nice place to stay.

Nice hotel, decent restaurant clean and only just off Temple Street. Offers a nice breakfast and staff are very friendly in reception. The lower rooms can be a little noisy with traffic, but if you want to be in the centre of town, you have to expect it.

Wir waren für 2 Nächte im Mercantile Hotel. Die Rezeption ist einfach gehalten mit Self-Check-In oder persönlich. Am Eingang wird man von einem Portier und dem Empfangspersonal höflich und sehr zuvorkommend aufgenommen. Mit dem Zimmer waren wir sehr zufrieden, eher klein, aber mit allem was man braucht. Obwohl die Zimmer gegen die Strasse ausgerichtet sind, so ist es dennoch ruhig und man kann gut schlafen (ruhig im Sinn für einen Stadtmenschen). Das Frühstück war ebenfalls ausgewogen mit sehr höflichem Personal. Insgesamt waren wir sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt, insbesondere mit der Themeneinrichtung und dem sehe zuvorkommenden Personal, merci!

Sehr nettes Personal, vor allem im Frühstücksraum. Das Zimmer war sauber und modern eingerichtet, jedoch etwas klein, so konnte man nur auf einer Seite des Bettes ein- und aussteigen, auf der anderen Seite war direkt die Wand und es gab keine bequeme Sitzmöglichkeit. Das Badezimmer hatte aber eine gute Größe. Das Frühstück hat sich sehr gelohnt, es konnte ein warmes Gericht (Eier, Pfannkuchen, Full Irish Breakfast) bestellt werden, außerdem gab es ein kleines Buffet. Die Lage ist sehr zentral zum Temple Bar Bezirk, auf den Straßen geht es daher recht laut zu, in unserem Zimmer im 5. Stock war es noch leise zu hören. Dafür lassen sich die viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichen, Busse fahren praktisch vor der Türe.
