I had a great stay at AC Hotel in New Orleans. The location is great — not in the middle of the crowds, but very close and easily walkable to all main attractions. The hotel offers honest quality, clean, comfortable rooms and professional staff. I would stay here again.

Property is in need of maintenance. Our shower didn’t have one its knobs. The hallways were beaten up and the elevator was old and smelly. The room was tiny and dark. Floors were scratched and the furniture was in need of refurbishing. We booked with Expedia and the pet fees were not correct. Nor did the descriptions mention that there was not a proper window. We spent more money and got less.

Room was dark and freezing terrible lighting. The front staff was rude and snappy at check in. My room was not ready until 5pm. The shower wasnt fully cleaned nor was the toilet so i am not sure what took so long. The area around the hotle was questionable. I didnt leave out after dark unless in an uber. Homeless people were solicitng in the lobby. I would never stay again.

I was a little worried about our upcoming stay. The reviews had me feeling like the hotel may be a bit sketchy but I was pleasantly surprised. My sister and I arrived hours before check in and we were greeted with awesome staff. They held our bags in a secure area with a great process in place to ensure that we received all of our items. When we came back for check in the process was smooth. I booked through a third party and was not charged for anything other than what was discussed. Our room was small but nice. It was clean, soft bed, clean sheets, pillows and towels. Bathroom was clean and stocked well with amenities. Shower was nice and hot and our room temperature was nice and cool. We felt safe. The entry doors were locked at a certain time, room keys were required for entry which I loved. Security was visible and greeted us everytime. Staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying there again the next time we visit NOLA.
