Most of the staff was very courteous. Room was amazing - plenty of space, beautifully decorated...felt "older" than a typical hotel room, but that is what we wanted in a boutique New Orleans hotel with history. Great brunch restaurant on property.

The room was clean and well appointed. The staff was all great and helpful. I've stayed at the Monteleone, Royal Sonesta, and the Omni, and the room here was every bit as nice. The only exception was the tiny bathroom; I could literally wash my hands while sitting on the toilet. It was no issue for me a a solo traveler, but if you are looking for things like a bathtub or counter space you might be disappointed. The hotel bar was closed which is why I didn't give it 5 stars - but there was a good bar literally across the street.

Great location. Wonderful coffee shop just off the main entrance. Very accommodating staff. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a hotel in the French Quarter.
