Staff was excellent! Room with interior balcony was nice & right near pool. Jazz club with Nayo was awesome. Even with the fire that happened, the staff was able to get us into another hotel and was very helpful with any of our needs. We will definitely be back again!

Weekend on Bourbon st

The service at the hotel was excellent. The employees went above and beyond to help you and make you feel welcome. Caleb the door man was exceptional. I’m not sure what a destination fee is ($25/nt), but there was no resort fee, which is what most other hotels charge. Overall a great experience right in the heart of the French quarter.

Room AC would not regulate so either room was to hot or to cold Request extra blanket night 1, 3 different times from housekeeping and front desk never received slept with clothes on including hoodie to stay at comfortable temp. Very old furniture Food to expensive in area not to have microwave in room. Still 2 hours after check out no receipt and they can’t print out receipts at property. Oh thick film around the pool floating couldn’t enjoy perk of pool

The entire property was beautiful and the staff were amazing! They were very accommodating and I will most definitely be staying at the Royal Sonesta anytime I am in town.

The Royal Sonesta was a great choice for our New Orleans trip!! Hotel staff was excellent and very helpful. The location on Bourbon street is a big plus. Loved having a balcony to people watch. Can be a little noisy at night (but that’s why you’re there!) We loved the pool and the number of restaurants on site. Would definitely stay here next trip. Thanks!
