We stayed in a ‘gold’ room that had been renovated. There was new carpet, tv had lots of channels, and it quiet inside the hotel. There was some street noise even though we were on the 9th floor. The air conditioning was fine! It was a block from Amsterdam Street and a few blocks from Central Park.

My daughter and I had a lovely time. The staff was friendly and helpful from the moment we checked in. The location is excellent and close to public transit. The hotel is dated, but clean and comfortable.

room was clean and comfy. hot water took around 5 min to reach my room. wifi did not reach corner of my 10th fl room. by sink, a bottle of lotion was found, but no soap. elevator buttons needed to be repainted as it was difficult to see what floor to push elevators are also poorly lit. simple fixes in some cases. staff were friendly as I was more of a tourist on this trip, wifi was not essential. for others?

This small hotel is a price performer. It isn’t luxury, but it has charm, and we were glad that we chose it. The people who work there are competent and friendly, and our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was in a perfect location for our plans, and given the rain, I appreciated being so close to a subway. We will gladly book here again.

Nice help on desk, but not a serious HOTEL. Reasonably priced hotel for NYC but room needed updating and attention. For ex. Shelf in bathroom for personal items tilted and would not hold more than a toothbrush!, A little dark and floor rug old looking. OVERALL CLEAN.
