The only good thing about staying at the night hotel was the water bottles they gave us daily, and location: convenient, near subway station, quiet. Didn't hear people above, or below. If you need a place to crash for the night on a budget, and won't spend time here that's it. That being said I would not stay here again. I'm not going to nitpick every issue, but this hotel offered less than bare minimum. First day we asked for extra pillow and blanket and they said...we'll see what we can do and then nothing. They did the same for my son's room. No soap for the sink in the bathroom. No bathroom sink counter. Drain in shower unattached (just a hole), no fridge, blinds broken, smelled like wet dog, wallpaper seams peeling up, bottom sheets to small for bed - kept coming up, no night stand, hairs in bathroom (not disinfected for sure) water didn't drain down the sink, towel rack came off the wall, no couch, just one clear plastic chair. The carpet was so gross I wouldn't walk barefoot on it. My socks were filthy afterward. There was no other amenities, not even coffee or gathering place other than the check in area (a few couches by elevators) The elevators fit 4 people (a tight fit). I felt the whole place was probably not up to code (sanitation and safety). I get NY is old, but whoever owns this place doesn't care about doing basics to make it presentable, clean, or even nice. Too bad I have to leave a negative review - they can do better.
